Youth and youth parent opportunities to consider

Sunday mornings @ 10:15:

Mid High youth (grades 6- 8) - We meet in Youth Room #38 at 10:15 on Sunday Mornings. This year we will be completing the "Faith In Motion" series, which helps young people realize that their faith should impact every aspect of daily living. The areas we will be studying will be 'School Dazed' (school), 'Real World Christians' (faith and culture), 'Man With a Mission' (knowing Jesus) and '7 Things Christians Don't Do'.

2008-2009 Mid High Schedule

*Senior High (grades 9-12) - We meet in the Youth Room at 10:15 Sunday Mornings. The Senior High class uses an eclectic discussion-based format, which is responsive to youth interests and world events and asks youth to consider how, in the midst of it all, we can live a faithful, thoughtful Christian life.

Senior High Sunday School Guest Speaker Day

On the second Sunday of the month the Senior High Sunday School will host a guest speaker. The Senior high youth would like to invite parents and the Adult Education classes to join them in Youth Room #38 @ 10:15 for these events.

*A youth group for Sr. Highs beyond the ninth grade. Adult leader for this group will be Gary Lueck. There are also youth leaders. Youth meet on Monday evenings @ 7:00 pm

*@ 6:00 on Wednesday evenings the Wednesday Worship Celebration takes place in the ECC. Come and join us? This service is in its third year and offers an upbeat, technology-based, participant led worship experience of video and sound. Everyone is always welcome to this alternative worship experience.

*Every third weekend of the month there will be a Mid-High youth gathering. Since these activities will be different every month, parents are encouraged to participate and help when an activity is of particular interest.

*The first Sunday of the month is reserved for our ASP (Appalachian Service Project) meetings.
