Thank you for checking out Christ United Methodist Church. We are located on the edge of downtown in Rochester, Minnesota. We are celebrating our 150^th anniversary this year. We are also the largest United Methodist congregation in Southeast Minnesota. 150 years of ministry has taught us that we need to be a community of open hearts, minds, and doors. Our membership is theologically diverse and we offer Christian religious education for people of all ages and theological backgrounds.

Your First Visit  When you come to visit our church, we encourage you to park in one of our two large lots. They are located on the East and West sides of the church. Our Welcome Center near our West doors is a good place to get information about that Sunday morning. Please be sure to include time in your morning for cappuccino, coffee, lemonade and fellowship in our Commons outside the sanctuary. We encourage you to sign the friendship pad during the service so we can contact you later in the week.

Visitor Lunches  Every other month we have lunches for people who have been to our church a few times and like what they experience. These lunches are designed to help people begin to connect with our community and meet some of our pastors and lay leadership. It also provides us a chance to get to know you better. We try to offer personal invitations to these lunches, but our recordkeeping isn’t always perfect. You can help us by recording your contact information on the friendship pad when it is passed during the service. Please feel free to attend any visitor lunch you see in the bulletin.
